National Association of REALTORS®members now have access to two new offerings through the REALTORS®Insurance Marketplace; members now have access to REALTORS®Vision Insurance plans and Members TeleHealth, a telemedicine service plan.
“As self-employed professionals and small business owners, Realtors® know the importance of finding affordable, comprehensive health care,” says NAR President Tom Salomone. “NAR understands the unique needs of Realtors®, so we are pleased to be able to provide our members access to the health and wellness coverage options they need, with many plans designed and priced exclusively for them.”
In addition to health, dental and supplemental plans, Realtors®will now have access to vision
coverage. Realtors® Vision Insurance has been designed exclusively for NAR members and their dependents. Members will have a choice between two plans, both of which provide coverage for annual eye exams, frames, lenses and contact lenses.
The new Members TeleHealth program will provide REALTORS®with round-the-clock access to MDLIVE, a network of over 2,300 U.S. state-licensed and board-certified physicians and therapists who may be consulted for non-emergency medical issues, such as cold, fever, allergies, flu and more. Practitioners are available through telephone, smartphone app, web chat or e-mail and may diagnose, treat and, when appropriate, provide prescriptions.
Realtors® Vision Insurance and Members TeleHealth are available for sign-up year round. Open enrollment for 2016 major medical health insurance plans through NAR’s Members Health Insurance Exchange ends January 31st.
