Best Tip for Getting the Right Listing Price: I take the seller to tour their competition, and nine times out of 10, they come to the correct listing price without me having to convince them.
Best Time Management Tip: Create a daily routine.
Can’t-Live-Without Tech Tool: Slydial, which allows you to go directly to a client’s voicemail so you can communicate more efficiently.
Best Tip for Running a Successful Meeting: Keep it interactive.
I understand you use some sophisticated visual presentations for every listing. Please describe what you’re doing in this area.
We use the Matterport camera on all of our listings. This is an interactive 3D virtual tour that allows you to self-guide the tour and walk through a potential home virtually. It’s a great way to stand out and win listings over your competitors.
A big part of your success is positioning Matchmaker Realty as a valued community partner. Tell us about your philanthropic efforts.
All of our agents are community-oriented. This is a culture we believe in at Matchmaker, and our agents show it every day. They serve on non-profits, chair non-profits, are Boy Scout leaders, help with the homeless, and aid our veterans. We also participate in community events as a team.
Is it true that your whole team is involved with client appreciation activities?
We recently hosted a movie night under the stars for a customer appreciation event. All of our agents invited their past customers and we had dinner, drinks and live music followed by a family-friendly movie on a blow-up screen. We also recently hosted an outdoor movie event with popcorn and ice cream in a local restaurant’s garden. This event drew in approximately 145 people.
You use an integrated marketing strategy, including print and, specifically, Homes & Land. How does it benefit you?
Homes & Land gives us an edge over our competition. Others have moved away from print advertising, but what they don’t realize is that Homes & Land is so much more than print. When you advertise with Homes & Land, you’re not only getting advertising, but you’re getting advice, guidance and branding suggestions from some of the best marketing professionals in the industry.
