Coldwell Banker Debuts ‘Hoops’ Ad Campaign

Coldwell Banker Real Estate LLC has debuted a new advertising campaign, “Hoops,” which focuses on the idea that one special feature of a new house can truly make it a home for the entire family. The ad will be airing throughout the Men’s College Basketball Tournament in March on streaming video services and television.

“Hoops” tells the story of a young boy who is apprehensive about moving and his family’s real estate agent, who wants to make sure the boy feels comfortable in his new home. The agent makes a connection when he realizes that the boy plays basketball and shows him that his new driveway could become the ultimate home court just by adding a basketball hoop. The boy’s eyes light up and later we see the happy boy playing basketball with the neighborhood kids in his new home.

“At Coldwell Banker, our goal is for every single one of our clients to love their home,” says Charlie Young, president and CEO of Coldwell Banker Real Estate LLC. “Your home is more than a financial asset; it is the setting of many of life’s best moments and memories, whether it’s the first time you make a three-point shot or the place where you bond with neighbors over a game of pick-up basketball. Our affiliated agents know how to help their clients find the perfect home, and our mission is to give the best guidance, tools and insights to empower our agents.”

“Coldwell Banker-affiliated agents have been dedicated to the love of people and home since 1906,” says David Marine, senior vice president of Marketing for Coldwell Banker Real Estate LLC. “The ‘Hoops’ campaign is a story that showcases how our agents truly feel about what they do every day: help people turn a house into a home.”

The ad continues the theme of recent Coldwell Banker commercials that tell stories about the experiences and memories that make a house a home. Previous spots include last year’s “Somebody to Love,” which was the highest-rated real estate ad ever by Ace Metrix.

The ad was conceived and created by Siltanen & Partners, the national advertising agency for Coldwell Banker.
