Mobile Marketing Solutions Make for Great REALTOR® Member Benefits

REALTOR® members of The Multiple Listing Service of Long Island, Inc., (MLSLI) recently were introduced to its newest member benefit, Mobile Real Estate, LLC’s complete Mobile Marketing Solution, during the Annual MLS Technology Fair, MRE has announced.

The solution includes text messaging, QR codes, OneCode™ and branded single-property, mobile websites. In addition to providing this service to all active Members for free, MLSLI is also offering mobile education from Mobile Real Estate.

This mobile platform allows potential buyers to access detailed property information, pictures and the listing agent’s contact info directly on their cell phone via basic text messages (standard rates apply), unique QR Codes and OneCode™; a proprietary GPS based QR Code system that can be used on all a real estate agent’s ‘for sale’ signs. All these various mobile components are created automatically each time an MLSLI member enters a new listing. The service is offered free to all MLSLI members as a value added benefit of their membership.

When consumers utilize either the text codes and/or the QR Codes that are now available they can immediately access the property’s mobile website, formatted for any mobile device with Internet access. MLSLI members can choose to additionally activate mobile features such as mobile IDX search capabilities within a full mobile website, which can be used in conjunction with their existing URL.

“Adding the mobile marketing solutions from Mobile Real Estate to our list of member benefits has already proved to be very successful within the Multiple Listing Service of Long Island. Our subscribers are excited about this technology and even more so that it is a free service MLSLI provides to all subscribers. Mobile marketing is on the rise, we want our subscribers to be educated, ready and ahead of the curve. These tools and proper education help them get there,” said Jim Speer, vice president of operations, during the MLS Tech Fair. He went on to reference the ability for agents to further enhance their mobile efforts by “upgrading their MLSLI provided account to include a full mobile website. This is another great value Mobile Real Estate has helped bring to our subscribers.”

The mobile website upgrade is available to all members, built to enhance the mobile user’s experience when viewing the agent or broker’s website from a mobile device. “Current statistics show 25% of potential homebuyers are doing property searches on their mobile devices. With a mobile website, real estate professionals are maintaining one in four leads that come to their site. This one in four has the likelihood of being a lost lead simply because the REALTOR® did not provide the proper platform for that particular website visitor. Proper delivery of this technology is key to maintaining interest and continued use of the agent or brokers website,” said John Lim, CEO of Mobile Real Estate, LLC.
