Why am I seeing old pages of RISMedia on my screen?
You are probably viewing a previous day’s page which was “cached” on your hard disk. Since our Web site is constantly updated, it requires you to set your Web browser so that it will not “cache” articles. The purpose of a “cache” is to prevent the browser from reloading each page, and instead require it to use a version stored locally on your hard drive; using a “cached” page will completely prevent you from seeing the most current pages we offer. To make sure you are not viewing a “cached” page, first try pressing the “Reload” button to refresh the page. If the same page reappears, you need to “clear the cache.” Please consult your web browser’s Help documentation for information on how to do this for your specific browser.

E-mail FAQs

Why did my Daily e-News from RISMedia.com stop coming?

There could be a variety of factors that caused our Daily e-News e-mail to not arrive in your Inbox. Here are two common reasons:

1. If you use e-mail filtering or anti-”SPAM” software, please check your filter or software to make sure our e-mail is not filtered or blocked. Look for a “bulk” or “spam” folder to see if our e-mail(s) ended up there.
2. Your e-mail address may have “bounced” at one point, which means that our servers will not send again to that address until further notice. If you believe that this might be the case, please contact RISMedia.

The best way for our Daily e-news e-mail to reach you is to add the “rismedia.com” domain to your e-mail address book or to a “safe list” if that is available. If you can’t add a whole domain name such as “rismedia.com” you can simply add the e-mail addresses of the newsletters you receive from RISMedia.com. The main address we send from is: dailynewsfeedback@rismedia.com .

I have e-mail filtering or anti-”SPAM” software set up, how do I make sure I receive RISMedia.com e-mail?

To ensure that you receive e-mails from RISMedia.com, please do one of the following:

1. Add the “rismedia.com” domain to your e-mail “safe list.” If you can’t add a whole domain name such as “rismedia.com” you can simply add the e-mail addresses of the newsletters you receive from RISMedia.com. The main address we send from is: dailynewsfeedback@rismedia.com.
2. If your settings don’t allow you to add e-mail addresses to a “safe list” or “white list,” use your e-mail client’s Help section or contact your e-mail/internet provider’s Customer Service to help with your configuration options.

3. Disable your e-mail filtering or anti-”SPAM” software.

NOTE:
Here are the main reasons why RISMedia.com will send you an e-mail:

1. You have signed up for our free e-mail service on RISMedia.com

2. You have a subscription to RISMedia’s Real Estate magazine

3. You are an RISMedia advertiser

4. You contact RISMedia to request our free e-mail service

How do I unsubscribe from your mailing list?
To stop or suspend delivery of the Daily e-News, click the Unsubscribe link at the bottom of the newsletter. For further assistance in unsubscribing, e-mail online@rismedia.com or call (800) 724-6000.

Why don’t the links in my Today’s Headlines daily e-mail work?
If the links in your Daily e-News are broken, your e-mail program is probably incompatible with the Graphics or HTML version of the mailings. Please request a text only.

If you have additional questions, please visit our FAQ page.
