Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Gary Greene has announced the appointment of Cathy Hamlin as career development manager in the Cy-Fair office. Hamlin, recipient of the 2012 Realtor of the Year Award -Women’s Council of Realtors Greater West Houston Chapter, will be training and mentoring new agents. She will also be working with clients to help them with their real estate needs.

Hamlin is an active member of the Women’s Council of Realtors, currently serving as the 2013 Presidential Advisor and 2013 Finance and Budget Committee Chair for the Women’s Council of Realtors Greater West Houston Chapter. She also serves as the 2013 Finance and Budgets Committee Chair and is on the 2013 Investments Committee for the Women’s Council of Realtors Texas State Chapter.
A resident of Northwest Houston for 30 years, Hamlin has seen the changes that have occurred and how the market has evolved. She shares this perspective and insight while working with both her clients and trainees.
Hamlin derives a special satisfaction from her work with new agents. Through training and mentoring, Hamlin helps agents with the knowledge and confidence they need to better serve their customers.
“I was fortunate enough to have an agent-mentor when I was newly licensed, and I will never forget all that she did for me,” said Hamlin. “I want to give some of that experience back to our new agents. Anything beyond that is just icing on the cake!”
