Finley Maxson, NAR’s Senior Counsel, discusses the new Truth in Lending Act/RESPA Integrated Disclosures (TRID) created by the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and how the new requirements that will affect real estate transactions, including changes to the form contracts created by association. Starting August 1, the new forms will be mandatory in all transactions involving a consumer mortgage.
