Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, one of Utah’s largest residential real estate brokerage companies, announced recently that real estate veteran and Utah native Chris Jensen has been named president by its parent company, NRT LLC. In his new position, Jensen will oversee the daily operations of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage’s 11 offices and more than 700 sales associates.

According to the company, Jensen most recently was vice president and managing broker at Prudential Utah Real Estate’s South Ogden branch. Previously he served as broker/manager for Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage.

“Chris’ in-depth knowledge of the Utah real estate market, his deep roots in the community, and his creative, forward-looking approach to management and business development combine to make him well-equipped to lead Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in the Utah area,” says Greg Macres, regional executive vice president for the western region of NRT LLC, the nation’s largest residential real estate brokerage company.

Jensen entered real estate in 1990 and he immediately distinguished himself, earning five consecutive Sales Master awards as well as being named President’s Club honoree, both coveted honors for top sales production.

Just five years after entering real estate, Jensen earned his broker’s license and soon after opened the first Prudential Real Estate Franchise in Weber County. In 1996, he was honored with the Lifetime Sales Master award for his sales achievement during his first six years in the business. Jensen has served as Director of the Greater Ogden Area Association of Realtors from 1999-2001.

“I couldn’t be more excited about the opportunity to help lead this highly successful organization and its talented group of sales associates and employees,” says Jensen. “The economy and the housing market have been challenging as everyone knows, but these challenges have prompted both real estate professionals and home buyers and sellers alike to turn to the strength of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage to manage through this challenging time.”

Jensen says his goals for Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Utah include leveraging the talents and deep experience of the company’s office managers, renowned agents and dedicated employees, as well as continuing to recruit top professionals to help with future growth.
